Extending hiring spree, FinMason rounds out North America sales team

On the heels of its expansion into Canada, FinMason Inc. has added sales executives Stefan Thielen and Peter Vitale to its rolls.
The Boston-based firm, which provides investment analytics as a service, has tripled its employee head count from 11 last year to 32 -- with an additional two interns coming on this summer. Those hires include the appointments of David Remstein as president and chief operating officer and Maral Boyadjian as head of investment analytics consulting. Before joining FinMason this month, Thiele, now director of strategic relationships, logged 20 years at Eaton Vance Distributors as a relationship manager and external wholesaler. There he conducted seminars and advised clients on strategic marketing in four Western states. Most recently, he was director of business development at the Boston office of Schechter Investment Advisors LLC. The T3 Enterprise Conference showed the dark side of the RIA software business in Vegas
Vitale, now director of enterprise sales, previously served as head of sales at Vaultize Technologies, a San Francisco-baseddata security platform. Before that, he was vice president and sales manager at Chicago-based Backstop Solutions Group and, before that, director of OTC derivatives at Interactive Data Corporation based in Bedford, Mass.
“Peter and Stefan are senior hires filling two key spots on our team," said Kendrick Wakeman, CEO of FinMason, in a statement. "They really round out and complete our North American client effort."
FinMason announced its expansion into the Canadian market last week -- one that will be serviced by the newly augmented sales team.
