Michael Sperduto to cover Erie territory Ascensus as regional sales VP

Ascensus Inc., the nation’s largest independent retirement plan and college savings services provider, has appointed Michael Sperduto as a regional vice president. Sperduto will work with with advisors, third-party administrators and financial institutions—including outsourcing partners and defined contribution investment only wholesalers—to build and maintain the Dresher, Pa.-based firm's retirement plan distribution networks.
Sperduto will serve western Pennsylvania and New York in the new Erie region. He was hired at the same time as Andy Hockman, who will oversee sales in the Ohio Valley region.
Sperduto brings more than 14 years of financial services industry experience, having served as a financial advisor earlier in his career. With this background, he brings a unique perspective on how financial professionals support their clients and build their business. Sperduto previously served as a 401(k) district sales manager for ADP Retirement Services. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wagner College. He also holds his Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant and FINRA Series 6 and 63 designations.
