My interpretation is that what is being ordered is a meritocracy, rather than race/gender/sexual orientation based hiring practices. This is being applied across many professional and government operations. Personally, I do not care what the race/gender/identity labels are, I want the best, regardless if it is a financial advisor, fund manager, or Air Force fighter pilot.
