Ohio RIA Sequoia Financial Group LLC has signed on Matthew Pullar as vice president of Private Client Services.

Pullar, who describes himself a wealth advisor "focused on elevating the thinking of entrepreneurs," will serve as lead advisor for the firm in its Cleveland/Akron office. He began his career in 2003 as a Morgan Stanley advisor. Before joining Sequoia, Pullar spent five years at Huntington National Bank as vice president in its private bank, and before that was senior relationship manager for PNC Wealth Management.

Pullar is a board member or volunteer in numerous nonprofits in the Cleveland/Akron area including Rocky River Education Foundation, College Now Greater Cleveland, Recovery Resources, Saint Ignatius High School and Jesuit Retreat House.
He is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
