Fidelity Trust Co. announced the hire of Neal Hegge as a vice president and investment officer as part of the Boston firm's expansion of its service team.

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust, Hegge was a director of high-yield sales at Credit Suisse in London, where he advised leveraged finance investors in Europe and the U.S.

Before Credit Suisse, he held a securities trading position with Merced Capital (formerly EBF & Assoc.) in Minneapolis.

Hegge has an AB in Economics from Harvard University.

Fidelity Trust is a wealth management firm for high-net-worth families, individuals, and non-profits.

No sooner had I claimed that mainstream media is finally taking a stab at delineating financial advice than I found this column [link below] in a local SF paper. Say what you like about reporters but we’re quite attuned to what is on readers’ minds.
Two years ago can you seriously imagine ink being used to explain the difference between all these designations??
