Kelly Guarino has joined Boston-based Fidelity Trust Co. and will provide trust administration and estate planning advice for clients in collaboration with Fiduciary’s investment officers and clients’ outside estate planning counsel.  She will also assist with estate settlement matters and issues related to private foundations and other nonprofit organizations.

Guarino was formerly with the law firm Lourie & Cutler PC where she advised individuals, families, and family businesses on tax, trust, and estate planning issues since joining the firm in 2007. She held similar roles at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr; Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault; and Peabody & Arnold.

“Kelly brings deep experience working with both families and nonprofits to establish and oversee estate plans and strategies that can minimize tax burdens and ease the complexities of generational wealth transfer or succession planning,” wrote Stacy Mullaney, chief fiduciary officer, in a statement. “We are excited to have Kelly join our accomplished team.”

Guarino graduated with a JD degree from Harvard Law School and earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Utah.

Fiduciary Trust is a privately owned wealth management firm focused on families, individuals and non-profits.
